A supportive and empowering therapist, helping individuals and families heal, grow, and build resilience.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from North Carolina Central University in 2017 and my Bachelor of Arts in English from Shaw University.
Over the years, I have served as a clinician, program coordinator, and childcare administrative assistant, gaining experience in community mental health, child and family agencies, and mental health advocacy organizations. I work with children, adolescents, families, and adults, using a range of evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s needs. My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychoeducation, Play Therapy, Behavior Modification, and Mindfulness Practices.
I have extensive training in childhood trauma treatment, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and TF-CBT for Childhood Traumatic Grief, both of which provide structured, compassionate support for healing.
I strive to create a positive and empowering environment, helping clients find strength, resilience, and confidence in their healing journey. I understand that therapy is not always easy, but I am here to walk alongside you, offering support, encouragement, and the tools you need to move forward.
Outside of my clinical work, I am inspired daily by my family. Before entering the field of mental health, I worked as a Field Instructor at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, where I helped rehabilitate youth offenders through structured support and mentorship.
